Rounded Rim Low Parco Planter (Set of 3)
Three Low Bowls With a Rolled Rim
The Rounded Rim Low Parco Planter is a set of three from our Tuscan Sun collection, built low and broad where most planters reach upward.
The Rim Does the Work
A thick collar rolls outward at the top and casts a shadow line the whole way around. Below it the wall swells, then draws back to a small flat base, so the piece reads heavier at the shoulder than the foot. That makes it a Low Ceramic Planter you can set under a window without blocking the view, and a Wide Ceramic Planter giving roots room sideways instead of down. From above, a clean Round Ceramic Planter with no flat side.
Wood-Fired Stoneware in Two Colorways
Earthen stoneware, wood-kiln fired and hand glazed one at a time. Heirloom White comes through chalky and pale, green-gray blooming across the belly. Atlantis Sky runs warmer, amber and rust with moss-toned patches. Raw terracotta shows at every interior. No two leave the kiln alike, the reason to buy a Handmade Ceramic Planter Set rather than three identical pots, and it gives each the pull of a Decorative Ceramic Planter before anything goes in.
Three Sizes, One Grouping
The set steps up in three stages, close enough to read as family. Set the largest back, angle the middle forward, tuck the small one alongside, and leave floor space around a Wide Round Planter rather than crowding it.
Where They Work and What to Plant
Along a low wall, either side of a stair landing, on gravel, or as a Decorative Garden Planter trio on a patio. Shallow depth points you toward compact plants: echeveria, aeonium, sedum spilling past the rim, dwarf mondo grass, annuals swapped twice a year. A single agave in the large piece makes a Round Outdoor Planter statement. Pair them with the taller Milano Tall Barrel Planter, or compare our Rimless Parco Planter.
Drainage and Weather
Every piece is drilled for drainage. As an Outdoor Ceramic Planter the stoneware takes cold well, though soil frozen solid stresses any pot, so raise the set on feet and cover it where winters run hard.
Know More About Rounded Rim Low Parco Planter
Do they come with drainage holes?
Do they come with drainage holes?
Yes. Each is drilled, so you can fill with soil and plant directly rather than working around a liner. On a wood deck or sealed patio, add pot feet to keep the hole clear and water from pooling underneath.
What plants suit bowls this shallow?
What plants suit bowls this shallow?
Anything with roots that spread rather than dive. Succulent groupings do well, since the wide opening takes several rosettes across the surface instead of one specimen. Sedum and trailing plants soften the rolled rim. Save deep-rooted shrubs for taller pots.
Will the three pots match each other?
Will the three pots match each other?
Not exactly, and neither will your set match the photo. Hand glazing over wood-fired clay means color settles differently on every piece, which gives them their aged look. To see the exact pots before they ship, just ask and we will send photos.
Which color should I choose?
Which color should I choose?
Heirloom White cools warm materials, holding up against brick, flagstone, and terracotta. Atlantis Sky leans amber and mossy, better against gray concrete, dark decking, or heavy green planting. Both read aged, not new.
