Tea Garden Fountain (Red Copper on Violet) - 15.0" D x 23.0" H (L) (Red Copper On Violet)

This arrived quickly and was packed well. It's very pretty, but not nearly as much as the one in the photo. It doesn't hold nearly as much water as I thought it would and a lot of the water splashes out while it's running because the lip on the lower part of the fountain where the water runs into doesn't protrude past the one above it. I will say that the pump was actually hooked up already, and the box for the pump came with it, so I spent a while looking for the pump before I realized that the company had actually gone to the trouble of hooking it up already for me so I was pretty impressed by that, actually. In the reviews, they mentioned that they got a new shipment of pumps that were a little more powerful than they were previously in response to a review, similar to mine, and i'm not really sure why they didn't address the issue that they knew was a problem, but apparently they didn't. The pumps aren't expensive, but for this price, this pump shouldn't splash water everywhere and honestly should have a light. I suspect that even a lower rated pump is going to splash water out of this jar, and it's going to need to be refilled every day. I don't need more maintenance in my yard, nor do I need a wet patio all the time and a higher bill, depending on how often I need to refill it in the summer. I'm going to have to spend a few more hundred dollars to get a reservoir now to put underneath this and I'm not even sure that I can lift it by myself, so I may have to pay someone to do that for me as well. After I buy rocks to hide the reservoir and get those installed, I'll probably be into this for just under a thousand dollars for a ceramic jar. I just a 4x8 foot pond from that area that cost me almost nothing to build because I didn't want maintenance anymore, cleaning it out in the spring and now i'm going to have less maintenance on a daily basis for far too much money. If I had known this, I would have plugged a planter that I could get for around a $100 and set it in a reservoir, but I didn't want that big of a footprint in that area. Now I have to do that anyway, and i've spent way more money on it with. I wouldn't say that this would be worth the investment even if it didn't lose so much water onto the patio, even if it had a light, but at least I wouldn't regret my purchase and I'd be fairly happy with it. If I had actually seen this at a garden center in use, I would not have even considered it for any price as it is.

I’m disappointed that the fountain does not have a light. I considered so many fountains most of which had light and yours being one of the more expensive. I guess I just assumed it was there without verifying it. Otherwise, the fountain is exactly what I had hoped it would be.

This looks great in my yard with the black rocks , only complaint is I have the fountain on the lowest setting and the water still flows over on a level base.

Every bit as advertised. Beautiful addition to our yard.

I was worried about a lot of water splashing out of the fountain but very little does. It makes a great sound and looks fantastic.
